“A true artist is not one who is inspired, but one who inspires others.” – Salvador Dalí
Linda Samuels is a Canadian-based abstract figurative artist known for her bold use of colour and expressive compositions. Originally from Montreal, QC, she now creates from her home studio in Kingston, ON.
A self-taught artist, Linda began her abstract journey in 2018, developing a deep appreciation for mixed media acrylic, though she also values the fluidity of watercolour. Her work seamlessly blends figuration with abstraction, a signature style that is powerfully reflected in her Empowerment collection—an evocative exploration of the emotional challenges women face. Through dynamic textures and striking contrasts, she conveys raw emotion, inviting viewers to connect with her subjects on a profound level.
In 2021, Linda’s Empowerment series was exhibited at the Florence Biennale, followed by a digital showcase at M.A.D.S. Gallery in Milan, marking her presence on the international art stage.
